Campbell’s – Wall’s Neighborhood Pharmacy

Today, Joe’s Spots introduces Campbell’s Pharmacy on Route 35 in Wall Township. Now you’re probably thinking, “Why a pharmacy?.” Well, let me explain. The fact is, your pharmacist can be just as important as your doctor – especially when you are taking a medication for the first time. You need a pharmacist that will explain the medication clearly and thoroughly. One who is familiar with what you normally take and what you are allergic to. A pharmacist who will make sure that you are not mixing medications that could be harmful if taken together. Campbell’s Pharmacy is that type of pharmacy.

My family first started using Campbell’s when we first moved to the area about 13 years ago. In the beginning, I didn’t have to take many medications – just the occasional antibiotic or cough medicine to treat a cold. Over the years, I have had a couple of operations and started taking blood pressure medicine daily. When I pick up my prescriptions, it is always comforting to know that the pharmacist will be there to explain, in a clear manner, exactly what I am taking and what the possible side effects could be. Another advantage of using Campbell’s is that they keep track of all the medications that you are allergic to. If a doctor prescribes one of those medications, they will consult with your physician to find you an alternate medication.

About 10 years ago, I had to have a fairly serious back operation. The doctor gave me the pain prescriptions ahead of time so that I would have them ready when I was released from surgery. I went to Campbell’s to get the scripts filled. When the pharmacist looked at the prescriptions, he came out from behind the counter to ask me why I needed such powerful pain killers. After I explained the situation to him, he handed me his business card with his home number on it in case I needed anything at any time. How many pharmacists do this? Do I think that this would happen at one of the large chain pharmacies? I don’t think that you can get that type of personal attention at any other pharmacy.

The whole Campbell’s Pharmacy operation is run in a friendly and organized manner. They seem to know all the clientele by name and they frequently ask people about the little things going on in their daily lives. As you might presume, many of the people going to the pharmacy are sick or are nervous about a loved one who is sick. Campbell’s atmosphere seems to ease all of that. It’s a real neighborhood pharmacy.

If you are looking for a full service pharmacy with a personal touch, give Campbell’s a try. You’ll be glad you did. And, they deliver too!
