Sail BoatsAn interesting phenomenon that I have found is that many people who buy second homes at the Jersey Shore tend to use them all-year-round. They are not purchased just for summer retreat anymore.

The Jersey Shore’s close proximity to Metropolitan areas, like NYC and Philadelphia, give it a unique accessibility. Which means, no planning has to take place in order to decide to make the trip to the Shore. Just turn off the lights, lock the door, and hop on the ferry, the train, the Parkway, or 195 and you can be watching the waves roll upon the beach in under an hour and a half.

And, what’s really awesome is that you can do this any day of the week, any week of the month, any month of the year! Because the Jersey Shore has a distinct beauty that is not seasonal by nature. You will be swept up in its magnificence at any time of the year.
